Our Values
Boutique Builder
We are a family business with a focus on your building experience. We limit the number of projects we take on to maintain our high standards. We never want you to feel like you haven’t been heard or like you are just another number. Our whole company has been built on a personalised service and attention to your needs as a main priority.
Communication
We are committed to maintaining clear and consistent communication. We use an online project management system with your own private access. You can then see daily site photos, live schedule updates and all your project documents. You can also make variation requests and approve them electronically to streamline the project for a more involved experience.
Passion
Our team has a passion for creating beautiful and functional renovations. We have a focus on attention to detail, only use high-quality materials, and we don’t forget the 1%ers that often get overlooked. We love a ‘picky’ client with an eye for detail because our ethos marries perfectly with even the most meticulous homeowner.
Our Professionalism
We take this very seriously and lift the standards of all of our trades and staff. We have strict onboarding processes and site safety systems to ensure that your home is treated with respect and you have peace of mind that you are in good hands.
Culture
Jakobovski Homes has a mission to change perceptions of building professionals, and we are doing this by building a strong culture within ourselves. Our culture keeps us and our subcontractors accountable to our core values, and we lift each other’s standards for workmanship and mateship on site.
Quality Control
We follow a strict quality assurance checklist that we have built to double and triple-check workmanship, essential details, and compliance at all critical stages throughout the project.
Past Client Reviews
The workmanship and attention to detail are outstanding – the finishes, cabinetry and overall feel of the home are excellent, and it’s proving to be very comfortable and energy‑efficient. Any questions or minor issues that came up were sorted quickly and professionally.
We would highly recommend Jakobovski Homes to anyone building or renovating in Tasmania and would happily use them again in the future.
This family business has been building in Tasmania for generations, and that depth of experience really shows in the quality of their work. They were supportive throughout the build and always communicated quickly and easily whenever we had questions.
